CANDIDATE PROFILE

Biography

I am Cassondra Magdalene Hanson, born on April 13, 1972, in Waukegan, IL. My early years were in Opportunity, WA, where I attended local schools. With a robust work ethic and a people-centric approach, I've honed various skills and collaborated with diverse groups. Advocating for the people's concerns drives me, and I am committed to exceeding expectations to address their needs responsibly.

Statement

Every voice matters. I aspire to amplify the voices of the people, collaborating with and representing them.

Addressing the surge in food prices is crucial. As governor, I pledge to champion this cause by supporting a new state-funded federal initiative, providing families with a $120 preloaded EBT card for essential purchases at grocery stores and farmers' markets.

Combatting drug-related issues requires stricter measures against dealers. It's imperative for our community to engage with local authorities, law enforcement, and elected officials to prioritize safety and protect our youth.

Expanding access to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services is imperative, accompanied by comprehensive follow-up support to facilitate sustained recovery.

I advocate strongly for women's rights and firmly oppose governmental interference in personal health matters.

Legislation is necessary to prevent landlords from unfairly hiking rent prices, safeguarding housing stability for Washingtonians and averting a surge in homelessness.

Education

Attended Spokane Valley Schools

Trained at Trucking School

Valuable learning experiences stem from hands-on engagement. The best learning I have had is through doing.

Community Services

While not formally engaged in community service roles previously due to work commitments, I've always assisted individuals and supported causes in need. Now, I'm prepared to dedicate myself fully to serving our community.
